My treadmill won't stays in the incline position can't get it to come back down

Sorry to hear you are having these issues with your treadmill, usually when this issue arises it is a very good sign that your Motor Control Board has short circuited and needs replaced. The best test to perform if you can is swap out the board of a machine you know to be good; Into the machine that is running at top speed at start up. If you can not perform that test, unplug your machine and remove the main shroud. You want to disconnect all wires from the board, keeping track of where each connection goes. inspect the board for any visual damage, along with the cables for any crimping or damage to them. Reattach all wires to the board, and plug machine back in without reattaching the main shroud. This way you can also check the board while the main shroud is off, you want to check that the LEDS are on. Assuming none of the above works, it would definitely be your motor control board that is the issue and needs to be replaced. If you can remove the necessary covers to find the adjuster mechanism(s) do so and then adjust one side of the belt until it runs true again. Otherwisw get a manual from the Nordic Trac website and follow those instructions.

this just happen to mine this morning, can't find a fix. Help!

I had the problem years ago and I contacted NorcTrack and their solution was to replace the entire console for about $400. They wouldn't replace the pads or anything else, all they would do is sell me the new console. That was not going to happen since I had only had the thing for about 5 years at the time. I wasn't going to be putting that kind of money into that treadmill every 5 years or so. I tried many things and I finally decided to buy a new console pad from the Treadmill Doctor. I think it was around $100. It was easy to replace. I just removed the screws holding the console cover in place, unplugged the wires leading to the lower console pad and pulled it off. The new pad fit exactly into the space the old pad occupied, I plugged it in and it worked. It's still working about 6 years later. I use this treadmill daily without any problems. It's not anywhere near as nice as the new units I see out there today, but it does what it's supposed to do and that's all I need. The Treadmill Doctor has all the parts you need for this machine at a reasonable price. Much cheaper than Nordic Track.
