I have had this happen & it is because your tube is clogged with a spiders web, I can about guarentee it; this happened to me 2 years in a row. Simply turn off the propane & disconnect the tank.....take off the grill grate & flame hood ....remove the tube & look inside it & see if its clogged....clean & put it back & everything should be fine.

I just got off the phone with Grand Hall USA and spoke with Tameka. When Sears asks them to make things like this, they send them a couple samples. At the time of this email, Grand Hall has 6 of these left in stock with (I would assume) no replacements on the horizon.

The number is 214-550-8031 and they run $74 plus shipping. I hope this helps you all out. It took me a week of searching, but we got it done........thanks.

First, since it's a Sears house brand, I'd start online with Sears Parts Central. Depending on which parts you're looking for, you can also try Appliance Factory Parts http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com/gasgrillparts/brands/kenmore/

Keep in mind, Kenmore doesn't manufacture anything. It's just a house brand name for Sears appliances. Actually NexGrill manufactures the Kenmore Grill line. So contacting them 800.913.8999 is also a possible source for parts.

Your problem could be or probably is with the regulator...not enough gas pressure...

Propane, LP, or Natural Gas Regulator Problems

Relace your propane regulator, they do go bad form sitting around, had the same problem you have. you should be able to disconnect from the grill, turn on the regulator and smell the propane, if not it's bad.

The ignition module must be replaced.
Check the battery first and make sure it is fresh.

Either the burner or the line to burner could be sooted or dirty

check thermo coupling., its purpose is to keep heat at flame area-helps keep flame lit,like a pilot light... clean it with a finger nail file LIGHTLY- or use sand paper LIGHTLY, just to clean surface..

This spark module has a feed back from each of burner igniters and when it senses the flame - it stops sparking.

Most likely you switched around the wires from the front burner igniters and the spark does not receive the right input.

If you turn on both front burners at the same time - does it stop sparking?
If it does, just switch the wires around

If it doesnt stop sparking, then

Check the electrical connection to the stove for possible reversed polarity and proper grounding.
Check all burner igniters for any damages (cracked or broken ceramic insulation).
Check all burners for proper assembly. Check if the burner cap is in place on every burner.
Clean all burner igniters, using a rubbing alcohol.

To check the burner ignitor switch

A good place to start would be the burner ignitor switches.Each burner control has a switch with two wires going to it. (One at a time) You can remove one wire from each switch to see if the sparking stops.If so then you have a shorted burner ignitor switch. Make sure the metal tip of the wire doesn’t touch you or ground.

Another possibility is a spilled liquid or a cleaning stuff could get inside a switch, causing a short.

try opening the tank very slowly. if you open it too quickly the overfill protection devise in the tank will restrict the gas flow to the burners. hope this helps.

close your burners up sounds like they are open to much also you make not have enough gas going to the grill, if this is your grill in the picture then you need a half inch line for it

Since it's a Kenmore grill and Kenmore is a house brand name of Sears. Have you tried calling your local Sears or K-Mart store? If you did and weren't successful, simply measure your grill (Height, Width & Depth) and armed with that information, visit any home improvement center or hardware store that sells grills and accessories and I'm sure you will find one that fits.
