If your password doesn't work

• The password you entered isn't capitalized correctly. AIM passwords are case-sensitive, so if your password is "Password," entering "password" (note the lowercase "p") won't work.
• (For AOL subscribers only) You've recently changed your AOL password and are trying to use your new password with the AIM service. Even if your AOL screen name is also your AIM screen name, changing the password for one doesn't affect the other.

Try using Mozilla firefox and your browser, sometimes that works better.

C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Aim\dcrgwgiq\YOUR SCREEN NAME\userinfo.bag that is a back up of yur buddy list... alteast I think cause I opened it in notepad and it had all my buddies in it. hope this help u out let me know if it did.

this is a glitch that aol is trying to fix. If you right click twice in the message seems to work it reloads and
teh buddy list will appear again

If you are using the right password, it is impossible for it not to accept it. Make sure that you are inputting it correctly.

Looks like it was an AOL/AIM problem, and it is now fixed. Yeah!!!!

As you want AIM as your default page so for that you need to open internet explorer then click on tools>internet options and then in General tab in Home page field type http://www.aim.com then click on ok and exit out of it and close the internet explorer and relaunch it and you will get AIM as your degfault page.

I would ignore it....it's most likely a scam. Make sure you can get into your aol messenger like normal. DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING IN THE EMAIL.
