What is OE pin box on Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8285WS?
We have a Superglide 16K in our Dodge and now need to get the correct capture plate for the Rockwood. Dealer says there is no info on hitch pin indicating manufacturer. Would prefer not getting universal capture plate, but may have to go with that. Forest Rivers says it is a Lippert and forums say Rockwoods all had Reese Revolutions as OE?

Why not turn on something on that battery circuit and then try the switch in either position? The battery systems (chassis and house) are generally left ON when using the RV or connected to shore power. If in storage without shore power, then the disconnect switches will reduce battery drain.
Have you tried to contact Forest River with a request for a manual? Sometimes on their websites they have a download area where you can get the owner's manuals.
Forest River (Rockwood is a model of theirs) only lists manuals for the past 3 years. You'd be better served and more informed if you write down make and model of every component you find in your RV. Then use Google to search for manuals for each system. These will include operating instructions, troubleshooting, and often parts. More valuable than the RV owner's manual.
1st Question - Can you verify that you actually have a Gas/Electic Waterheater? Most units are gas only. You may have to look at the unit and look for power cables.
2nd. Is power connected prior to turning on the water heater?
You may be able to climb in through the front storage compartment and raise the bed. Or, some mobile RV repair techs have a master set of keys and can let you in for a nominal fee. If you happen to know what the key number is then you can purchase a replacement key. FIC and Global keys each have 51 different cuts of keys. FIC will have a key code of HF or CF 3** and Global will have G3**.
Contact the manufacturer of the coach for their owner's manual. However, each appliance will have a separate owner's manual form its perspective manufacturer, i.e., Water Heater = Suburban, A/C = Dometic, Refrigerator = Norcold, etc.. There will not be a diagram of electrical or plumbing as a majority of the RV manufacturers do not publish that information. The only thing that I can think of that would cause the TV to reset when the Air Conditioner comes on is if the AC is remote controlled you may have a frequency conflict. It is not typical for the AC to share an electrical circuit with the TV but if that is the case here then the TV may be getting shut down because the AC is drawing too many amps on startup for the TV to continue to function. Turn the breaker off to the AC and see if the TV shuts down also. If it does then you will need to get the issue corrected.
