My 2006 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe gives off a foul rotten egg smelling stench that seems to be coming from the battery. The bike has fried two brand new batteries in just two days of riding on each. What's causing this problem? Is it going to cost me an arm and a leg to fix it?

The egg smell is the battery. as it overcharges and overheats, this gas is flammable as well so no sparks.
The regulator is definately shot, but possibly the alternator windings as well.
Not certain on that model but it may have an alternator with an internal regulator.
Unfortunately can be an expensive exercise.

Bleeding the clutch hydraulics will not solve a slipping clutch. You probably need to change the fiber plates in the clutch.

Went to start my 2006 Yamaha ROyal Star Tour Deluxe, had no power to ignition or electrical system

sounds like possible bad battery or batttery connections. If battery is more than 4-5 years old thatis a good place to start as it should be replaced anyway.

I would go for the Goldwing. Try it out on the mountain before you buy any bike.

Winter storage solution for a 2008 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe

you can take out the plugs - inject a little engine oil, crank the engine 5-6 times and reinstall, support the bike so the weight is off the tires, drain the gas and spray the tank with a rust preventative....
