My 01 883 harley sportster turns over but, wont start?

3 things r needed for starting--r u gitten gas from tank to carb--r u gitten spark--and is compression rite make sure the batt is @12v and cables r tite-inspec plug wires for wear--buy a haynes or clymer manual today

Different fuse. Check the fuse block located just behind your battery. Just pull the cover off and slide out the main fuse block, the very bottom one is blown if the starter wont turn over.
