I would suggest that you take it to a bike shop and have the oil pressure checked with a mechanical gauge
next check the viscosity of the oil in use as it may be to low for an engine that old or the wrong oil for bikes
there may be a mechanical fault such as worn rocker bushes and shafts, internal oil passage leak

Warning lights on dash of my cbr 929 rry

Instructions
    • 1 Place a rear stand under the motorcycle's swing arm to support it.
    • 2 Remove the right side fairing panel from the motorcycle, using a 5 mm Allen wrench to unscrew the fairing's bolts. Pull the fairing slightly away from the motorcycle. Reach behind the fairing and unplug the right front turn signal. Set the fairing aside.
    • 3 Shift the motorcycle into neutral and start the motor. Let it warm up for three minutes, then stop the motor.
    • 4 Place an oil pan beneath the drain plug on the bottom of the motor, centered between the exhaust pipes. Unscrew the filler cap from the clutch cover on the right side of the motorcycle.
    • 5 Unscrew the drain plug, using a 17 mm socket and a socket wrench, and drain the motor's oil into the oil pan. Clean the drain plug with a shop towel and reinsert it into the motor. Use a torque wrench to tighten the drain plug to 22 foot-pounds.
    • 6 Use an oil filter cap wrench to unscrew the oil filter from the right side of the motor.
    • 7 Spread an even coat of 10W40 motor oil over the new oil filter's O-ring. Screw the oil filter onto the motor by hand. Use a torque wrench to tighten the oil filter to 20 foot-pounds.
    • 8 Place a funnel into the clutch cover's filler. Pour up to 3.3 quarts of 10W40 motor oil into the motor. Remove the funnel and screw the filler cap into place.
    • 9 Reinstall the right side fairing panel, using a 5 mm Allen wrench to insert the fairing's bolts.
    • 10 Lower the motorcycle from the rear stand and rest it on its kickstand.

Why does my oil light keep coming on?

Oil light comes on because of low oil level or low oil pressure. Make sure you have the recommended grade, weight and amount of oil in your motorcycle.

OIL LIGHT ON AND OFF AFTER ENGINE WARM UP ENGINE KNOCKS AFTER WARM UP 20W50 OIL IN NOW OIL IS NOT LOW.B WHEN ENGINE IS FIRST STARTED RUNS LIKE A DREAM THEN STARTS MAKING NOISE AND OIL LIGHT COME ON AT IDLE...

First of all , change your oil pressure sender . It should be easy to do and relatively inexpensive. See if that fixes the oil light going on and off. If the light stays on after that , turn off the bike and replace the oil pump. If you have a bad oil pump and continued to drive the bike , you may have caused serious damage to the motor and may end up having to disassemble the engine to determine the cause of the knock.

How much fork oil do I use on my 2001 honda cbr 929 rr

Should not be more than 300cc (between 275-350cc) depending how hard you want it. Use grade 10 or 15 from Castrol for normal bounce.

Good enough for thumbs up?

Check engine light and Fl on instrument panel

you have a fuel injection problem and need to take it in to the dealer so they can read the codes so you can decide if you want to fix it or them.

Having trouble with my honda 2001 cbr 929.black/gray smoke coming out of exhaust pipe

There are several possible causes; fuel mixture is too rich, air filter is clogged, or worn piston rings and/or valve guide seals. The latter, however, will most likely produce blue smoke - under acceleration means worn rings, blue smoke under deceleration means bad valve guide seals. Also make sure that the crankcase vent is not obstructed as this will tend to force oil up, past the rings and into the combustion process.

Generally, an examination of the spark plugs will give you a good clue as to what the offender is. Black, sooty spark plugs indicates too much fuel (clogged air filter or mixture too rich). Oily spark plugs means worn engine parts, as mentioned above.
