What is the question? Are you trying to put KX60 crank in a KX65? If so, I am pretty sure that won't work without a lot of modifications.

SOURCE: On a 2000 kawasaki kx 60, are all the clutch

The clutches should be squeezed together buy the pressure plate and springs. When you pull in the clutch, it spreads the plates apart allowing the transmission and engine to spin at different speeds

There should be no play up and down. Any play is coming from a worn out needle bearing on the crank. A bit side to side is okay and normal. The crank will need to come out then it gets pressed apart and fitted with a new bearing. Price out the difference in cost of fixing the crank verses getting a new $170 crank assembly. What probably happened is a broken piston ring extended into a cylinder port and the piston against the ring is what gouged the cylinder and head. I have a 2004 kawasaki kx 125 the top end needs to be rebuilt it has been rebuilt one time already so what parts would i need to get is it hard to do or what

piston kit, wrist pin bearing, top end gasket kit and a honing tool to clean your cylinder is about it I would probably buy new air filter and spark plug if I was doing it, but not essential ?

Need rings!! for 1976 kawasaki ke 125

It looks like Babbitt's has the parts. Pistons and rings are sold in 3 sizes; standard, .020 oversize and .040 oversize. I would suggest you have the cylinder bored and install new piston, rings and needle bearing.

You might want to install new crank bearings and seals as well but that involves an engine teardown. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Hi, my 1994 KX 250 will not engage 4th gear - all the other gears are OK. When in the 4th postion there is a knocking noise like the dogs are not engaging. When I took it apart everything looked OK the...

The worn shift fork is the problem. Normally a shift fork will never show any wear. When a fork gets bent is when wear begins to show. If a good shift fork is set side by side with a bent fork it is very hard to see any difference. The bend is so slight that it is usually impossible to discern. Put in a new fork and the shifting problem is history.

Now would be a good time to install new crank bearings and new crank seals as well.

I have an 86' KX 500 basket case with side-side play on crank.

To be honest if this was me I personally would replace bearings and seals and give whole engine good check over.May save some hassle later depending on your circumstances.
