SOURCE: Atomik Pit Bike

After hunting around the web for a few, it sounds like the spring is from the timing chain tensioner. It looks like there is a button on the end of the cylinder, that end goes in first, then the spring. See if the spring is the same on both ends, the picture looks like it's smaller at one end and that end goes into the tensioner, not the bolt. I'll include a screen shot of the picture.

Check to see if the ruin burton is on, if so out could be the switch isn't altering the connection to go the plug.

125cc pit pro, pit bike Kick start lever jammed

remove the cover that houses the kick starter and look for a failed return spring or some other reason that keeps the kick start dog engaged.

I have a 125 pit bike and it ticks over fine but when you rev it it backfires does any body no how to fix it.

You can check ur values but some bike do make a we ticking from the values and it will back fire when revved up because of the extra fuel once revved that hasn't brine burn as it revs back down to idle speed.

Cut out

did everything as usual letting the bike idle for 5 minutes while I got my gear on. Got to the end of the road stoped then as I opened the throtle to pull away it cuts out. Restart then as I get to the next junction does it again. Pull over a bit to give it some revs, all seems fine, nice idle etc, then does it again at the next junction as I try to pull away. After that no problems at all, went out for an hour or so didn't miss a beat, was out on it the day before to with no problems. Anyone else had any of this sort of weirdness on their 690?,check out the fluid in the clutch reservoir. I was loosing some oil from the slave cyl. and when there was a lack of oil exactly same thing was happening to me.,,,
