Kawasaki Ninja 1000RX ´86

I just bought a old Ninja ´86 model to be exact. The motor seems to fail sometimes and i cant get it to go over 3000 rpm. This happens to often and I have already checked and replaced the following:
Replaced the spark plugs,
Replaced the aspirate
Checked the wire connections.
and previus owner replaced the spark coil.
Is it possible the CDI box is failing or what could be wrong?
Please help me if possible.

Probably a gas delivery problem to the carbs. Check the lines and check for a filter in the line or at the carbs. Something is stopped up and it can't get enough gas to go any rpms.

99 kawasaki ninja EX250 motor swap for a 98 NINJA EX250 MOTOR

I would try charging the battery. Take it off and put it on a slow trickle charge overnight. Batteries usually only last 3-4 years if it is an acid battery.

Kawasaki 87 stickers

RdDecals.com in Canada has complete sets or individual sticker pairs including pinstripes for the US Ninja version, but not the GPZ. So, with one of these kits, you could get all of the right stickers except the GPZ (comes with Ninja) stickers on the upper cowl, and the 1000RX for the belly pan (comes with 1000R). They have stickers for other older Kawasaki's as well.

Bike wont start

If you can't find another similar connection on the new motor, you might need to swap heads (if it's the same exact motor).
