Oil/service light how to reset. @

How to reset the oil / service light on Kymco 500 ?

  • John Doran Oct 13, 2019

Wrong. There's a little slot running horizontal in line across from your ignition switch. Take your key and gently push it into this slot. Don't force it only goes in a little way. That's how you reset oil reminder/service light. No need to disconnect your battery.

Try dissconnecting the Negative Terminal on the Battery. Leave off for a minute or so, should reset it.

There's a button covered with rubber on the left side of the dashboard. Using a thin stick, push this firmly and hold (while the bike is running) for about 1 minute. Fixed.

, usually due to a leaking fuel line or malfunctioning fuel injectors. However, it is normal for a small amount of gas to get into the engine oil during normal engine operation.
