OK I have a 98 VZ800 Suzuki Marauder, the last few times Ive gone for a ride its started to give me starting issues. Id get a click but no start the first time it started on the 3rd try, then each ride since its gotten worse. It would start after 10 try 20 trys ect but I would always get the click from the starter silonoid/starter area when it didnt start. Today it will not start no matter how many tries I make. IM getting a good 12.2v from the battery with key on, but only got 11.6 from fuse block when I tested with that ignition fuse removed, so I tried testing the orange wire coming off the starter switch and got the same 11.6. So that means the switch is bad correct????

SOURCE: won't start not even click

I am pretty sure you have a bad solenoid on your starter. Sometimes if you tap on them while someone holds the key in start they will make contact and it will start. Best solution is replace solenoid. You can check it by having someone hold the key in start and measure the voltage from the small wire to ground, if it is bad you will have voltage but it will not even click. Hope that helps you.

SOURCE: Adjustable rear shocks

There are 2 holes at the base of the shock absorbers. Turn them clockwise for a softer drive. At factory they are setted at 3. THey go from 1 to 6.

Motorcycle Question about a 1999 Suzuki Marauder VZ800 running rough after it is running a while.

Question edited for clarity and typos.

I had a similar issue on a Kawasaki Z1300. It was caused by a fuel line that was routed very close to the rear of the cylinders. When the engine heated up it caused a vapor lock, so basically a gap in the fuel delivery. Backfires can also be caused by weak fuel delivery.
