1997 yamaha 250 timberwolf overheating
look for the thermstat and change out because of sticking.Over heating will cause rings not to have the ridge force needed to keep compression at normal .

Rear end problems yamaha timberwolf
In a posi-traction rear end BOTH would spin. but he obviously didnt have that.Tundras have some goofy thing that says they are limited slip but really they are NOT limited slip. Dies when you turn off the choke
sounds like you have an air flow issue,remove carburreter strip andclean with carb cleaning spray and an airline. Check float height adjustment, once everything has been reassembled, refit carb, prime with fuel and JOB DONE

consult manual this is a little involved need to follow instructions very carefully. Damage to valve can occure when done wrong.

2005 Yamaha v star 650 losing power
What Exactly does the bike do when it 'loses power'? This will give clues as to where the issue could be. When was the last time the bike was given a major service? Sometimes it can be as simple as a dirty fuel/air filter or an old/worn or dirty spark plug.
