To find the exact location of that fuse in the fuse book you should consult your manual.

The fuse box itself is located either under the hood or at the bottom of the dash. In my 2008 Jetta its under the hood.

If you don't have your manual then you can just start pulling fuses (one at a time, then replace it) and looking for the one thats burnt out. It will be obvious when you find it, when you look through the middle at the squiggly piece of metal, a good one will be continuous, a blown one will be broken/burnt.

SOURCE: My cruise control doesn't work??...any

jnjkingbird, It sounds like this problem is the clock spring as I don't believe that the horn and the cruise control would share a fuse. However, they do share a circuit in the clock-spring. You can check for power at each unit (horn and the cruise control) which would confirm this. Check each fuse as well. Good luck with this.

SOURCE: fuse location for cruise control on a 2000 dodge caravan

The cruise has no dedicated fuse, you will most likely be looking to replace the clockspring rotating contact located under the steering wheel which connects the switches in the steering wheel (horn, cruise and air-bag) to the rest of the electrical system.

Where is the cruise control fuse

The power for the cruise control comes through fuse #14 in the fuse box. From there it goes to the Cruise Control Switch. However, the Cruise Control Module is above the Fuse/Relay box, behind the dash board. Good-Day!

Check the fuse panel. Look for a fuse that says cruise on it. If you cant find a fuse for that check your cigarette lighter fuse. somtimes they are conected. Its going to be something simple like that.

My 2004 jetta cruise control is not working. I have changed both the brake switch and the clutch switch and I checked all the fuses. What else could it be?

Engine vacuum does the work for most cruises. Check the vacuum hose that goes to the cruise control servo and ensure it has no cracks and is connected well. Also check the hose that connects up under your air filter.

Idle adaptation at limit

Your cruise control module circuit is reporting low voltage.
Check your battery, all your fuses, as well as the alternator.
You could try replacing the cruise control fuse, and hope that solves the problem. If not go to an auto parts store that has electrical diagnostic equipment and ask if they could identify the source of the problem (could be the module is going bad).
