Engine light on my 2005 Colorado has come on again (third time this month). Engine seems to idle rough and has slow pick up speed. I already changed the gas cap and replaced the gas with Premium grade (this took the light off the last two times) but now that damn light is back on. I had the same problem and there was a recall on the head. They had to replace it 3 times before it was fixed right. I'm still having issues with it but now I'm just looking to get rid of the truck. '05 Colorado,same problem and even dies sometimes.They do not have wires only boots and coils.Is there a way to check the coils or would it be evident if you pull the plugs and check them.
