CAR STARTED TO SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING I PUT IN NEUTRAL RESTARTED THEN BACK TO DRIVE DID IT 2 SEPARATE TIMES FINALLY WAS DRIVING PARKED AND IT SHUT OFF HASN'T COME BACK ON I HAVE SEVERAL CODES FROM AUTO ZONES SCANNER PO141, PO440, PO449, PO650, AND PO742 IT IS PAID OFF RUNS SO SMOOTH IS IT WORTH FIXING ALL THIS STUFF I DON'T KNOW THE CODES. IT HAS 199,000 THIS IS MY FIRST TIME HAVING A PROBLEM BOUGHT IT 6 YEARS AGO HAD 53,000 MILES

did the doors normally lock when you started driving and unlock when you parked. (automatic feature)
If so, this could be an issue with the shifter linkage and during a normal drive, it could think you have parked, or just started driving.

I would get this addressed my a local mechanic quickly for safety reasons.

intermittents are sometimes hard to diagnose out !! and this seems as one , im curious though what made them wiggle the relays and fuses ?? was there a previous problem there ?? depending on year of manufacture of car , is weather or not the cars own pcu can help diagnose what made car stop , as later models "remember " what there last condition was that shut off engine , of course this requires diagnostic equipment to see this info that typically car owners don't own , but a qualified service tech does and knows how to use it to find your problem

Transmission

Lose connection , broken wire inside the insulation . Where on the vehicle is the wire , how many wire's ? is it a whole wiring harness ? What color wire ? Open up the wiring harness an check the wire's one at a time . Pull on the wire's an see if one comes apart . If the wire is broke inside it's insulation you won't need to pull real hard for it to come a part .

Sounds like they found the problem, but I wonder about reversing the wires. They might have done that to make a generic relay work if they could not find the correct part.
Sometimes motor home builders use parts from other suppliers than the OEM folks. I doubt you can do much to insure trouble-free travel other than contact Four Winds and see if they can get you the correct relay for a spare.

Common problem, there is a headlight relay in the power distribution center under the hood that needs changed out.

Be sure to put the truck in neutral, while engine is running, while you disengage from 4 wheel drive (low) to 4 wheel drive (high) and then finally to 2 wheel drive. It is critical to shift transmission into neutral when switching out of 4WD Low, as indicated in your owner's manual. Hopefully, this will help to FixYa problem!

Your tranny need to be repaired at once. The tranny is slipping. Some Lexus owners do have the similar problem including myself.
