I have a 2004 Honda Accord...the warning light next to the battery light came. what is that for?

have your car scanned to get the trouble code that caused the incident
some times a loose wire at the battery cause that fail

could the cars battery be flat by any chance

do you have power to the head lights do the turn on? if not check the fuses at the battery or to the side of the battery,

Maybe a little late here but i have a fix for this after turning down my dealers generous offer of a 750gbp fix i did some extensive googling and found this.... With your ignition on open the tailgate using the catch inside then turn off ignition and disconnect the battery for a minute. Reconect the battery and turn on ignition and let the warning lights go through their cycle. With the ignition still on shut the tailgate and hey Presto should be as good as new.

The Select/Reset knob on the instrument panel controls the brightness of the instrument panel lights. Turn the knob to adjust the
brightness.

it sounds like a week battery or problem with main ignition circuit my advice is to take it in for servicing and have it scanned for trouble codes.

It may take a while if you drive a bunch of short trips. But normally after a day or two it should go back off.

sounds like bad wiring to me

change wiper relay and remove baterry terminal for 10 to 15 mins and put again on its position and start your car

If you now all your basic fluid checks are all ok,than you have a computer timed check light thats coming on.If it has gone out and come on is usually something thats heat related.If all is running well and light is on,then try this ,remove the battery cables for a few seconds and put them back on. Problem light is gone.
