I need to remove the headlights from a 2011 hyundai genisis coupe

If you have a bad light bulb it will make the blinker light flash. Check all turn signal light bulbs.

There is no DRL fuse, they are controlled through the BCM module.

Nope. Great car. Hardly ever see them at the dealer to be repaired.

I have found this many times wit some aftermarket bulbs, but the most common problem is that because the wire clip that holds the bulb is so hard to get to (unless you do it every day) it may get bent while trying to remove it. When this happens the bulb vibrates and will blow just from the vibration. Wiggle the bulb to see if it feels loose, if so go to the dealer and buy a new clip. you will need to remove the headlamp to replace it.

It's probably not your alternator. The airbag light would be on for an overvoltage condition.

Remove the headlight and place a multimeter on the leads for ground and low beam, if there is voltage replace the headlight, if there is not voltage check the wiring between the switch and the headlamp.

Problem is either wiring or the bulbs... evident.

are you talking about your headlights being permanently on? or are you talking about running lights?

If' it's your headlights, you may have a DRL system that requires the headlights to be on all the time
