2005 envoy the fan wont shutoff after the engines been turned off

battery has a full charge and battery connections all good? There is no fuel shut-off. engine cranking, you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? At the fuel pump, gray wire is voltage, black wire is ground. Engine cranking, if you have good voltage and ground at the fuel pump but no fuel pump action, suspect the fuel pump.

Sounds like your electric cooling fan is not turning on. Check the fuses and relays associated with the fan circuit.

Try using the door key to lock and unlock the drivers door.

Check brake fluid level and make sure the reservoir is full. If it is then I would bleed the brake system to make sure there is no air in any of the lines. This should fix your problem

Fan wooble on my 2005 Envoy GMC is it that the water pump failed are the fan

check to see if the coolant fan comes on when u turn on the a/c...if it doesnt ur a/c system is over heating allowing the pressure in the system to build up to high...this will cause the system to shut down because the high pressure switch will shut off the system.. or if the system is low on charge it wont turn on until the engine heats up building up enough pressure in the systen for the low pressure switch to turn on the system..

Hanson4, did you get this resolved? My 2008 Envoy is doing exactly the same thing.

The engine fan? Replace the fan clutch.
