I have a 1986 Nissan 300 ZX that I rebuilt the auto transmission. Things would be fine, but I lost the modulator valve pin/shaft. Does anybody know the length of this pin, so I can make one?

if belt broke may have some damaged valves or belt installed properly

It is built into the main engine control processor called the PCM and it talks to other modules, so it is not just one part.

I'm assuming you have the VG engine. If not or you have more questions, please get back to me.

Normal 0 To take off and put back the transmission cost around $700 labor. To open up, repair and put things together, parts and labor start at $800. So the total would be at least $1500.
Buying a used Transmission for $300, and replace the bed one for $700, would cost you $1000 at least.
The question is:
Could you find a dissent transmission of a 1986 Chevy S10 4X4.
The answer is:
Chanced are slim or none.

First thingto check would be the fuel filter.

a fuel pump here in the us is about 240 dollars, since your looking for the cheapest route, aftermarket should be fine. what a pump will cost in Australia I have no idea
