Bmw 318I oil leak could it be the rear motor seal

Yes. It's called the "rear main" (crank) seal. To repalce it requires the temporary removal of the transmsission. It could also be from leaky valve cover gaskets, a front main (crank) seal or from a number of other sources. Even a leaky oil drain plug seal.

Bmw 1985 318i how do i open the gas tank cover?

underneath rear seat is a panel you can take off if that is what you are looking for. Grab rear seat and pull up hard right behind front seatbacks or said differently, not in the center. It is held down in two areas at edges.

2003 BMW 318i pre owned, purchased 15 days back, now steerin ....

The first thing to do is put the front tires on the back and see if there is a difference. It could be a bad tire,or a balance problem. There could be worn front end parts and that will show up as movement in the wheel by moving the tires back and forth.worn tie rods or ball joints can cause a vibration. If the vibration is when the brakes are applied, then the cause is most likely a warped rotor.Check the temperature of the front rims and if one is much hotter than the other there could be a sticking caliper, which will cause the rotor to heat up and cause a vibration.

How do I adjust the handbrake on a V Reg bmw 318i ?

remove cover between seats to expose cable adjusters and back them off till slack. jack up rear of car (chock front wheels) remove a rear wheel stud and you can view the star wheel adjuster inside the drum, with a thin screwdriver wind it up till wheel locks then back off about 15 clicks, do same on other wheel, wind up adjusters inside car till wheels lock at about 5 clicks, check for binding when h / brake is fully down, thats it.
