If you have the 4.0L six cylinder those run hot. 210-220 degrees. If the cooling system is fine, both fans are working and it's not overheating you can try adding a bottle of "Water Wetter" to the coolant. I also changed my radiator cap to an 18psi which seemed to help run slightly cooler. You find it at the autoparts store.

SOURCE: window motor replace 2001 jeep grand cherokee

You need to remove all the skrews from the door. Normaly there is one in the handle of the door, one behind the in door lach handel and one under the bump out for the arm rest on the door. Than you need to take a flat head skrew driver slowly priying the panel off. There are plastic clips on the backside of the panel it is ok if you brake a few.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.1 2001 air con working but no hot air is it just thermostat need change or is it more problem?

Check hoses going to heater core. Do both get hot? If so, problem may be a "blend" door failing to actuate due to vacuum leaks or bad actuator. If neither get hot, change thermostat.

2001 jeep ran hot and cot off and was not registering hot and now lifter is tapping

Hi here is a quick fix for the lifter tapping. Try adding 4 Oz. of tramsmission fluid to the motor oil , and run the engine for two minutes at 1500 RPM. This should quiet the lifter tapping. It works everytime i come across this problem.

Rattling sound is coming from back when vehicle is idle (brakes pressed and waiting at traffic lights or stopped). Sound is off when running. Jeep 2001 cherokee sport 4D

Chances are one of your exhaust pipes is hitting something or a shield is loose. Easy to check, just try and move the exhaust system and see if it contacts anything, then start it up and track the noise to it's source. DON'T touch the pipes when it's running or has just been running. THEY ARE VERY HOT!!
