I lost my keys and there are two different keys to operate my jeep. One opens the door, and the other ones starts the car. Can I get a new set?

Take the key with proof of vehicle ownership to your local dealer who will gladly set the codes. Or if you have a premium car recovery roadside assistance package, they will come to where you live and preform the deed.

lost the other one,,,??????
battery dead.
fob switch, dirty, clean it , google how,no lack of facts there.
why not use other fob.
if you lost your last fob.
is $350 a good thing for a refit.

if car runs you can get a new fob at any locksmith in my town
drive in, say,, , hey,mista this fob funky.
if car his SKIM (IMMO) and you loose fob, car will be useless.
with one fob.
read this operators guide for new fobs
some you can make, mine takes 3 good ones.

Customer Key Programming
You can program new keys to the system if you have two
valid keys by doing the following:
1. Cut the additional Sentry Key Transponder blank(s) to
match the ignition switch lock cylinder key code.
etc...

so for this car always have 2 keys,make 1 more
and can make up to 8 total keys.

2 day one and 6 more by you, for life of car
or my key shop can reset all mine to zero keys
and reprogram from 0.
and i just did on my WK jeep.

the car came with 2 key fobs
lost it?
use the other key
if lost , then this was inevitable.
never run newer car (heck any) with just 1 key.
now you can program a new one.

lost the operators guide I see, like all post here ,same topic.
the dash warning are unique to all cars, all years, and all options.

there are 2 lamps SKIS and SKIM.
the key logo means this :
the key transponder chip is bad in THIS key , try the other.
there are no batteries in the key, for this.
the battery fob only runs door lock, logic.

never run any jeep 1999 to now with only 1 key
use 3 keys, so you can make your own spares.
or pay big money later... for sure.

do both fobs fail, its the bad receiver (in car body)
if one fails the coin cell in side is bad.
the operators guide shows how to replace it, lost that?

mine does the same thing and all you need to do is jump in and start it for it to stop but you go in and staryt meesing with things ist gonna mess up something

only the dealer can repair this, the Body control computer must be programmed to the new lock cylinder, there is no way around this.

there are two buttons on the diagram panel screen, push and hold top button and a one of the entries will start to blink, then you use the bottom button to change the entry, when you are ready to move to the next entry push the top button again.

A little Costly, But contact a Locksmith to make you a New key from the Door lock or the Glove box lock,"If it's the same key"

Cost could be up to $150, Or as low as $45 an Hour.

A good locksmith Should be able to help in 30 to 45 min's
