I have a 2010 Buick La Crosse CXL and when trying to set the memory for the seats and outside mirrors I can only get the seats to retain the memory. When I place the car in drive the mirrors go down out of range and i must adjust manually. How do I set the memory for the mirrors?

This might be what you're experiencing.......
Park Tilt Mirrors
If the vehicle has the memory
package, the outside mirrors
have a park tilt feature. This feature
automatically tilts the outside
mirrors to a preselected position
when the vehicle is in R (Reverse).
This allows the driver to view the
curb for parallel parking.
The passenger and driver mirrors
return to their original position
when the vehicle is shifted out of
R (Reverse), or the ignition is turned
off or to OFF/LOCK.
This feature can be turned on or
off through the Driver Information
Center (DIC)

The audio system controls are used
to access the personalization
menus for customizing vehicle
features. (DIC)
CONFIG (Configuration):
Press
to access the Configuration
Settings Menu.
MENU / SELECT Knob:
Press the
center of this knob to enter the
menus and select menu items.
Turn the knob to scroll through the
menus.
0
BACK:
Press to exit or move
backwards in a menu.

Sure hope this helps!
Best to you.

SOURCE: 2005 Pacifica power seats, windows, mirrors, ect just stopped

Disconnect the battery for a minute or two. This clears the computer, and for some reason fixes the problem. I have had the same problem on and off for the last two years I have owned the car. I took it to the dealership at first, then figured that it might be something simpler. I just had the problem again today after accidentally setting off the alarm, and the above fix worked. Lost my radio presets though.

Power seat in 2017 Buick La Crosse making noise

I would take it to a Body Shop as they will be experienced in removing seats.

Likely to be the worm drive that moves the seat on the track. May just need adjustment and grease.

How do you change the driver name and memory for seat and mirror adjustment on a 1997 buick park avenue ultra

I am not sure about changing the name as my 2000 park ave. only indicates driver one or driver two. To reset the memory for seat/ mirror position is rather simple: with the ignition on and the car in park, adjust your seat and mirrors to the desired position. Then press and hold the desired button (driver one or two) until you hear a beep, This is the procedure that works on my 2000 park ave. I hope this helps you.

Dear Joe. It Maybe the memory system on the mirrors, seats, & radio presets. Some are set to match the remote key entry depending upon which person is driving at the time. Sounds like you have the memory system error. Try calling a Buick dealer for info.
