Where is the main relay located on honda accord exi 93

The main relay is usually located on the drivers side under the dash. It is usually brown, rectangle shape about half the size of a stick of butter, with about an 8 pin connector. Let me know if this helps.3_6_2013_12_35_33_am.jpg3_6_2013_12_37_09_am.jpg

Car won't start. It turns over but does not start at all

Have your distributor and main relay checked to see which one is bad, since they are usually the two culprits on 90-93 Accords.

Car wont start

You have to start with the basics, like checking for fuel and spark. Those 90-93 Accords are known to have their distributors and main relays commonly go bad. Have those two items checked out first.

My 93 Accord won't start... engine just keeps cranking and cranking with no start. Ideas?

If your car runs for a few and then refuses to restart, for a while, after shutting it off, then your main relay is bad. If it just won't start period, your distributor is bad. Have them both checked out, depending on which no start symptom you're having.

My honda accord 93 won't start wen is hot,mi honda accord no enciende cuando esta caliente o cuando lo dejo bajo el sol

Overview Why doesn't my Honda or Acura start sometimes? The main relay is famous for stranding people for a few minutes usually in a parking lot in hot weather. The problem is so common that it's been coined the "petrol station fuel relay" from fuel station attendants. The technical name for the main relay is PGM-EFI Main Relay Assembly. PGM stands for programmed, EFI stands for Electronic Fuel Injection.

there's a main relay or fuel pump relay located under the dash on driver's side. this relay goes bad all the times. it usually goes bad when you leave the car in a hot sun, next time keep your window down to see if it will start.
