Engine dies numerous times a day.

Have you thought about it possibly being the engine that has something wrong with it? Have you checked the cylinders?

Sputtering

Do you have access to a multimeter and familiar with how to use it? Take a few minutes and remove connector at TP sensor, spray it off & inside with electrical cleaner, add some dielectric grease and see if it helps at all. You should find TP sensor on opposite side of throttle linkage on throttle body at front.
