My headlights and dash lights are starting to flicker on my 2002 Buick Century. Once in a great while the headlights go completely off for just a split second and then immediately come back on.

It probably has a bad headlight switch or the connector that plugs into the back of the switch is burned. The burned connector will cause a bad connection.

Lisa, how long was the key in the one position? For the heck of it, put the car in neutral, and try to start it. It's possible the neutral safety switch is bad, which could cause the problem. It should start in neutral if that's the problem. Let me know if this works, if not, I'll help further.
your auto headlamps are operated from a photo (light) sensor on the dash.-thats where you start and end, just replace the sensor...wow $800, they were gonna rob you blind!
try swapping the headlight relay with the horn relay
