2004 impala back window stuck down

You checked fuses and relays for electrical cranked window?
Remove: internal door handle, remove window crank if manual crank, door panel, remove film/paper seal.
If is mechanical crank: check for worn out parts on gearing and racks (reinstall crank and wind window up and down). Replace worn parts.

If electrical window crank: check for power at solenoid. Try switch again and watch to see if solenoid engages and tries to crank.
Check to see if switch is broken. Try door switch and drivers door switch.
Pickup another solenoid and replace old one.

There is power to my electric windows on my 2006 HHR, but they will now roll down.

You need to take off the inner panel on the door to actually see what is happening. My guess is that something has broken, like a mechanical connection from one point to another.

None of the windows or just one?

Driver window does not roll down

Electric or manual? If you hear the motor (electric) running or you can feel the mechanism working (manual) when you try to roll it down then the window is most likely stuck to the weather stripping and has come out of the track inside the door. If it is electric and you hear nothing then start with the fuse.

Rear passanger electric window keeps falling down. buick century 2000. Have it taped up, is it the moter or just off the track? What do I have to do? to tell what is wrong?hanks

either the cable is worn or broken, or the window has come off the old down bracket that holds the glass in place,, remove the inner panel of the door and look to see that the window is attached to the mechanism and that the window glides in the door haven't come loose

The electric window on the passenger side front no longer goes up and down.

If the driver's side button doesn't send the window up or down either, it's probably time to replace the window motor. You'll want to deal with an honest mechanic you trust to check for broken wires too. Sometimes though not often it could be something small.
Good luck

Window damage

Sounds like the window regulator inside the door has failed. If you feel confident enough remove the door pad and take a look. Alternatively get your local mechanic to take a look for you it is not a major job.
