2001 Olds Aurora. The fan is blowing but very little heat is coming out. Maybe 60 degrees tops. Where should I begin my trouble shooting to see what needs replacing?

First check to see that the cooling system is properly filled.
Next, watch you engine temperature and see that it hits operating temperature. If the thermostat sticks open the engine will never get up to normal temp. On my Aurora, that is exactly midway on the temp gauge.

Cooling fan is acting strange car is heating some when idling how can I trouble shoot or fix

It is normal for a temperature gauge to fluctuate when the car idles, you will notice 20 to 50 degrees bounce. As long as it is not going into the red or blowing steam don't worry about it.

Why wont my fan wont blow on 98 Olds Aurora?

Its the blower motor resistors connection.Turn ignition and fan switches on then wiggle and pull on the resistor pigtail and fan should come on .The location of the resistor is on the passenger side of the heat duct mounted with 2 screws.

I have a 2001 Olds aurora the other day I was driving went to turn the A/C on the lights come on but no air comes from the vents, when I try the defrost same story no air. It has always worked fine...

John, I had the same problem, check the fuse under the backseat, if it is good then turn the key to the on position, turn the air or the fan on, then wiggle the fuse maybe pull it out and put it back, if the fan starts then it is the same as mine. Its just a bad connection where the fuse plugs in.

1996 olds aurora cooling fans don't work

is it blowing a 40 or 60 amp maxi-fuse located on the passenger side front area of the engine compartment located in the fuse panel? If so i believe 95-96 had the wiring for the fans to close to the exhaust manifold causing the insulation on the wiring to melt which in my case resulted in a dead short off and on blowing the fuse.

Hot and Cold air from vents in 2001 Olds Aurora

The Aurora has dual-zone heating & cooling. Sounds like either the sensor or control know on the car is disconnected or not working. The passenger control is the knob on the passenger door. The sensor for it is under the glove box. I believe you need to remove the glove box hinge to see it. Could be the wires came loose or the sensor is bad. If anyone was working in either of these areas, maybe they forgot to reconnect one of them.

1998 Olds Aurora, no heat, no air, just blowing air out the front

i beleive these are a vacuum system. if air temp is in cold position you will get no heat. listen for hissing noise with motor turned off but key on. if you hear hissing noise you have a hose broken or off. you will have to find it

A/C/Heater stops blowing on my 2001 Lincoln

Most likely it is the fan switch or wiring. Pull the switch on the dash and check connections. Fan switches usually burn out on the high setting. Does it work on low and medium without trouble? It is either wiring and I would say the terminals right at the switch, or the fan switch is bad.
