2001 nissan centra air conditioner

Our 2001 nissan centra air conditioner works when driving on the freeway,
but does not work when driving off the freeway.

Any suggestions on where I should look first for the problem?

I've had the same problem lately, well specificially it just does not seem to cool down much even after running for 10 minutes.

You may have a leak. At higher rpm's a/c compressor works better, that at idle, because it turns alot faster. Your level of R134 may be low in a/c system. Have garage check, how much R134 a you have in there.

Need to know where the radio fuse is in 2004 nessan centra

Hi Robin-
There are two fuses for the radio in a 2004 Nissan Sentra. Fuse #6 in the fuse box inside the cabin, and #31 in the fuse-fusible link box next to the battery. Hope this helps!

Heater only works while on the freeway

Sounds like either low coolant or air in the cooling system. Either you need to bleed air out of cooling system or repair possible leak in system. When there is air in cooling system and it goes into your heater core, heat is not transferred to the air blowing out of your vents.

Car jerks on freeway and engine shuts off.

It sounds like your Mass Air Flow Sensor is faulty. These sensors will normal show fault when cruising at highway speeds causing the vehicle to almost stall or stall. Replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor with a known good one and test drive the vehicle. This will most likely repair your concern.
