First open the bonnet then remove the round cover on the back of the lighting cluster {its like a jar top} then remove the wiring to the bulb ..then carefully undo the spring clip that hold the bulb in place {as in most cars} its a bit fiddly but its like a spring clip that is fixed at one end then goes over the terminals to a little space on the other side of the terminals {you will see what i mean when you remove the ;: jar top ;; then gently remove the bulb ..it may be a good idea to upgrade now to high out put bulbs {available from many motor factors} when refitting always wear plastic gloves {to avoid getting moister from your hands on the glass envelope of the bulb ..any moister will shorten the life of the replacement bulb if you do put moister on the envelope of the bulb clean of with a none oily spirit } now refit the new bulb {it only fits one way then the tricky bit refit the retaining wire this can be easy or a pig to do ! once you are happy that the replacement bulb is home OK then fit the cable and them refit the jar top .then teat ..good luck ..the batter side is the hardest ..it may be worth removing the air intake hose ..if you do this ..its just two press screws with plastic plugs its east to remove and re fit there is no need to remove the battery

Hyundai tuscon 05. Reverse light doesnt work, bulb fine ,fuse are good and new switch installed. What next?

Does bulb socket have a ground wire, or just uses mounting point as ground? Check for voltage at each part of system. Start with fuse, then switch both in and out of reverse, then bulb.

2006 Hyundai Tuscon, How do I remove the driver side headlamp to replace the bulb? I removed the two bolts, but can't pull it out.

hi from uk if the headlight assy is anything like some here in uk ie ford focus ? you may find there is a 3rd bolt tucked away out of sight this is probably located as on focus ? if you feel or use amirros? and look/feel on the inner wing between h/lamp and inner wing you may find a small bracket that is attached to inner wing ? and another on the lamp assy these 2 brackets are locked together with a 10 mm spanner/socket bolt approx 6 ba threaded unfasten and remove bolt the lamp will probably come out best to use 3/8 or 1/4 " drive socket+extention ?

Headlight replacement on a 2006 Hyundai Sonata

I'll assume you want to change the bulbs, not the headlamps themselves. I've listed the steps below to change the bulbs. Both sides use the same procedure
STEPS TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULB
1. Remove the dust cover from behind the bulb that needs replacement.
2. Unplug the bulb.
3. Taking note of the bulb orientation, unhook the bulb retaining clip from the tang that holds it in place.
4. Remove the bulb.
5. Install the new bulb in the same orientation and clip in place.
6. Reconnect the electrical connector to the bulb.
7. Reinstall the dust cover.

Alternatively, if the bulb is burned out and you have less than 60,000 miles, you should take the car to the dealer and let them do it for free for you.

Bulbs keep burning out

When you replace headlights in today's cars, DO NOT TOUCH THE GLASS OF THE BULB!. Handle the bulb only with the packing material the bulb ships in, or with a clean dry cloth. The oils in your skin will cause premature failure of the bulb.

Also, check the sockets (car side) carefully to make sure they are not burned.
