Most traction control are automatic. but it is 4x4 so you really dont have to worry about the traction control.

It is automatic... You should have a traction control button below the radio and heat controls to turn tractinon control on and off

My 06 grand cherokee laredo has a 4x4 emblem on the vehicle, and a traction button on the dash, how do I operate the 4x4?

Your jeep should have full time four wheel drive. To place the transfer case in low range look down to the console towards the rear and you will see a "T" shaped handle. To place it into low range you should stop place the vehicle into park and lift the T handle and in the dash a 4X4 indicator lamp will light up. The traction button on the dash would be used in 4 wheel high mode when you start to experience wheel slippage upon take off from a stopped position. This will give you a little more control. You only need to use the low range for very slow speeds in mud or snow. Otherwise just leave it in high range because it is always using 4 wheel drive. This is a very reliable system which Jeep has refined over the years. Your Grand Cherokee is not designed fro hard core off road use. Hard core off road use will destroy the undercarriage. The Grand Cherokee is more of a luxury soccer mom 4X4 with good road manners, a comfortable ride, and good reliability.

I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4X4 4L automatic. I have been told the rear gears are shot. Where do I find what the ratio is. I was told to look on the gear housing plate and it would tell me....

there should be a tag on the differential that will have the ratio stamped on it.if its missing you can try calling the dealer to see if they would be able to tell you by using the vin#.or you can pull the cover off and rotate the differential and find the #s stamped on ring gear.

2006 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Driver side window raises to top then lowers to halfway when you use the button in automatic mode. When using the button at halfway it works normally.

try pressing and holding window switch until window motor stops in down position, then pull up and hold switch until window motor stops..this should recalibrate window position..i hope this helps
