I have a 2006 Hyundai Tucson and the a/c is not blowing out cold air. A week prior to this happening the fuse went out in the fuse box area. I replaced it and it worked for a week and now it does not blow out cold again. I checked the fuse and it's good so is the relay. so I'm thinking it's something to do with the fuse pannel.

It may not be the panel. I would check the refrigerant level as many of these systems use pressure switches. If no or low on refrigerant, then no pressure and system will not run.

SOURCE: AC not blowing cold air

Most likely the A/C system needs to be recharged with freon.
Most shops charge under $50 for this service.

SOURCE: Why doesn't the heater blow hot air?

If your "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light is on, you need to have that checked out first.
If not, the next thing you should check is your engine coolant level. (Antifreeze) If the coolant level is low, the engine coolant does not circulate through the heater core and the the heater doesn't work. The coolant level could be low for a number of reasons including a leaky hose, water pump, or head gasket. In any case, if it is found to be low, you need to find out why.
If the coolant level is OK then the thermostat function needs to be checked to make sure that the engine is reaching operating temperature.
If all of the above checks out OK, then the heater control valve and/or the blend air door in the HVAC housing needs to be checked for proper operation. (NOTE: some cars are not equipped with a heater control valve)

SOURCE: Hi, I have a 2006

Have your voltage checked. This is usually done with an alternator test at a local autoparts store. If that checks out look closely at the mounts for the headlight and make sure its not loose. Vibration can cause bulbs to blow. Make sure there is no moisture in the lens. Water will cause it to blow.. Lastly when you replace the bulb do not touch the glass. The oil from your skin will cause it to blow early.

SOURCE: AC will blow cold air for a few minutes then start

you have moisture in the system this causes your expancion valve to freeze up an stop working, thats why it works for sort time and when it de-freezes stars working again. you need to do a EVAC & RECHARGE with a good AC service equipment, specially attention to pull vacumm por at least 20minutes so you get all moisture out of the system.
Good luck

The electric motor is probably shot. Does it work when you switch between settings like vent and floor? If one setting works and another doesn't then you have a problem with the dampers in the dash and the dash needs to be removed. If the motor is shot, you can find is location by listening very carefully for any noises when you turn on the ac coming from near the dash board. You can also ask a local auto parts rep to locate it for you, they can also sell you a replacement if you need it.

2005 Hyundai Tucson. Which fuse controls the actuator on my 05 Tucson please?

The fuse is in the engine compartment fuse box and is marked 'A/Con'. It looks like a Relay to me and as it doesn't have an amperage, my guess is that it is a relay. The different sites have slightly different variations, but the thing to check first is the relay. You mention 'heater coil', that is on the engine coolant circuit and only provides hot air. The AC compressor system has an 'evaporator' up in the dash and only supplies chilled air. I trust the AC job was done professionally with a Gas Recovery machine to create a moisture free vacuum before adding refrigerant gas. It can't be done at home. I wrote a Fixya Tip on it.

My ac heater and defrost will not work at all in my 2005 Hyundai Tucson new blower motor and resister what else

Hi,

Please check the heater motor and also the thermostat. If those don't work, then this can also lead to your ac/heating system to malfunction as well.

Please use autozone to get a free diagnostic run on your car to get a list of errors. Then, they can tell you which errors are relevant to your ac/heating issue.

Thank you.

Heater not working

Make sure that the cooling system is filled to the top and there are no air pockets.. If low add water and see what happens. If still no heat, the valve that controls the flow of water into the heater core is not letting water in. Either it is stuck closed, or the linkage that adjusts it is not working.
