This morning I had a dead battery for the first time in my 2004 Suzuki Forenza. I call AAA and they got me started and I took the car in on his suggestion to have the battery charged. I couldn't figure out what drained my battery. I didn't leave the inside light on or outside lights. Nothing, but when I was coming home from the shop I discovered that my Radio doesn't play and only shows DOC when I turn it on. What does this mean and is this related to my dead battery?
The DOC or Dealer Otherazation Code is a white card located withing the Black users manual. Typicaly in the left pocket of the black "Pleather" manual holder. This code will nee to be entered to re-activate the stereo. This will need to be performed ever time power is lost. So be sure to keep this in a safe place. If you do not have the code, you can contact the dealer or a dealer for assistance. Good luck!
Yes it is related i belive actually it says code but what ever it say
you need the code for the radio you need to get it from the dealer or from previous owner or might be write by hand on the owners manual.

name what part of car you are working, Ok Ignition.
what are the symptoms?
what is failing.
what does redrawn mean?
for very long time, the relay my be stuck closed.
on my car it does this for 1 min, every time, and 08
and i hate it. but im sure yours dont to that normally.
you must love the dead battery.
At this point, reading everything that's been going on, it sounds like a really dead battery. The battery should be pulling more than 13 amps (not speaking of voltage). The batteries we put in the Foreza's show on the sticker they are supposed to have 590 CCA (cold cranking amps). Have you taken that battery to an Auto Zone or some place to get it tested? It appears as though you you've eliminated other possibilities, but, are still able to jimmy it to start it.
Have you tried reseting the ECU, it's worth the try All you have to do is disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 minutes, press the brake pedal several times while turning ignition switch on and off and this will reset you computer to factory settings....
I have a 2004 Forenza. Don't know about the washer. The 15A fuse marked "I/P" next to the "Fuel Pump" fuse in the main relay center under the hood disables my trunk release and interior lights.
Found this out because the battery started to drain and die within a week. Several mechanics/electricians looked at it but couldn't figure out why. One pulled out that fuse and now the battery holds up fine. Problem is I don't have the use of the interior lights or trunk release.
Does anyone know what the cause of the battery drain is? Has something ground out? Btw, I got a small shock the last time I played with that fuse. Not sure if that's a sign of anything.
The exact same thing happened to me but I haven't found anything in my manual and my old dealer is closed. I guess I'll have to call suzuki.
