Im looking in junk yards for a alternator for a 98 Isuzu Trooper. They don't have any. Is there another make and model of car that the alternator is compatible for my trooper?

I was under the impression it was attached to the alternator if it is not a module right there where the wires enter the alternator it would likely be just down the line in a box on the firewall under the hood. try to trace the wires from the alternator and look for a module just up line from the alternator

we look it up, and see all crossovers...

buy a rebuilt with life warranty. and drive..... best way.
use alternators tend to be , near end of life,...... just saying..
if in uSA , old Isuzu, parts will not be easy to find used.
they died here.... and very small demand. now...
so are crushed, and turned to toyota;s now.. or razor blades.

you never said what country, so i had to guess. and most times. i guess wrong, all post I do are USA< on this USA forum.

You will need to strip out the inner door trim and look at the window mechanism when operated. I imagine all will be revealed. Its possible something has come loose or jumped out of position and a good DIY person or home mechanic will soon work out what's wrong. Try a breakers yard for another if required or an auto spares shop or ebay etc.

You can order from the dealership and get new or order through the on-line junk yards for about 1/2 price. Just make sure you have the right part number before you do.

you can go and get an after market one form walmart or your local sterio shop and they can also install for you. If your looking to get the sterio that comes stock in it you may want to go to the junk yard and see if you can find a wrecked 2001 Isuzu Trooper that you can get the cd player out of

Look up on car-part.com. Fill out drop downs and pick area or state you are in. It has all the junk yards on it.
