This sounds like a fanbelt or something similar...they normally occur at idle or just low revs, as soon as the eninge turns fast enough, it seems to grip better.........
WITH ENGINE OFF.......reach down side of engine and feel the deflection (movement) of the fan belts.....it should only move 5m at the most....get a torch and inspect them for cracking...tell me how it goes
