1997 jeep wrangler fuse box diagram. wiper motor works....new wiper switch...connect and still no wiper function....fuse? location?

If it frozen, that rules out a disconnected linkage. Unfortunately, this is a little known model and whereas I can always find fuse box diagrams, for yours I can't. If you have a test meter, you can test all the fuses without removing them by testing for continuity at the two contacts on the top of the fuse. It may also be the relay.

Google thinks it might be this as apparently they are a badged Chrysler. If it is it is this fuse J20.

front or rear, yes, rear is an option (8w-53 fsm page)
USA or export model? i guess front USA.
there can be 1 or 2 boxes, depends on years.
the operators guide, has this,, get one?
and the fsm, and haynes, rags, etc.
and can be found with google and alldata.com

buy an operators guide, or use my link and just look it up-.
same answer for all cars made. its in the glove box, that guide.

just a flash light and 5min. looking finds 99% bad fuses.
why do you need to know the exact one?
here is the full FSM> see wiper wiring, its fuse #17 runs the front.
it runs the waster too, so if that works its not Fuse 17.
or any fuse ,.

17 is marked FRT WIPE

see power distrubution page 3. top left corner fuse.
if the fuse is good we use a voltmeter to find out what really is bad.
ask.

Bad wires connections, Multiswitch go to bad or finally wiper motor.

wipers and washers usually have a fuse,
i may be mixed with another fuse.
the best thing to do is check each fuse in turn and see if one is blown or has
corroded connections.
