2003 Cadillac Escalade, wipers stay on. Remove and replace fuse, wipers stop, until they are turned back on and run for short length of time. Is is an owner replaceable problem?

Which tail light ? Does the stop light ,turn signal work ? Check fuse's LR PARK fuse 10amp or the RR PARK fuse 10amp located in the under hood fuse box .

It is the wiper module board that is on the firewall. It gets moisture in it and keeps the wipers going, so just change out the board.

Open the fuse box, behind the cover of the fuse box it should tell you. If its not on the cover it will be on your car manual. The other option is to remove 1 fuse at a time, the one that has the a blown wire will be the one that you need to replace

remove heater fuse. sounds like heater switch faulty , remove fuse or relay this will help untill you have switch replaced.

Sounds like one of two things. Either the circuit board on the wiper motor is bad or the switch on the column is bad. Just to let you know GM had a serious issue with the circuit boards on their wiper motors. Might be covered under a recall you can check with the local dealer.

I had the same problem... Its the bcm or body control module. Its located in your center counsole. At first I was able to fix mine by using a giant zip tie and securing the electrical connection into the bcm unit because it was just making a bad connection. That worked for about six months untill in completely stopped working and I bought a used one for 80 bucks.
