How to replace a bmw rear parking sensor

I have a 2003 BMW 330d sport and know which rear parking sensor is faulty, but not sure how to replace it.

Any Advice??

Put car into reverse with ignition on (not running) and either listen very closely or feel each sensor with your finger tips, you should hear a clicking noise or feel a ticking on the good sensors. once you have determined the faulty one simply release the two plastic retaining clips and push the sensor through the bumper inwards, then remove plug and fit new sensor

Meaning of obscure red dashboard warning symbol on BMW 330d sport

Could you possibly comment below with a photo of this light? I'm not sure if it is the boot lid light as that is usually the image of a small car with the boot lid open. Also the noise would keep going if the boot is open as that's it job. A Red light means it needs looking at as soon as you can as it is possibly something serious. Does it have any other marks, letters or symbols inside the shape? This can help identify it.

P0140 BMW P0140 BMW - O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 2



Possible causes - Faulty Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 harness is open or shorted
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Inappropriate fuel pressure
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Intake air leaks may be faulty
- Exhaust gas leaks

Replacing the Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 usually takes care of the problem

my 330d 02 bmw strarted to missfire a local mechanic solved it by clenaing up the injector connector plug. 6 months later same thing happend. he did same. now 4 months later same problem. i drove to spain 1200miles and noticef fule down to 42mpg from 50. car also smokes if accelorate hard

ok yes it does need a door lock motor and the parking sensor might be from a bad sensor or if the car has been painted and the sensor painted over and you need to take to a good bmw INDEPENTED SHOP not a dealer ship
