Torque settings 08 reg renault megane

Can anyone tell me the torque settings so I can replace the pads and disks on an 08 reg renault megane 1600 petrol. Thanks Paul

Sure no problem, only one small thing
Provide your VIN number in other terms vehicle identification number with the VIN I would know exactly which model you have engine installed gearbox installed and certain other factors, you can leave out the last six numbers for they are not necessary and are the serial number of your car look for something starting with VF1.
An adhesive label bearing the car's identity card can be found on the B-pillar or an adhesive label with the VIN can be located at the bottom - left of the windscreen.

From my research, everything for Renault is torque in Newton Metres (Nm) plus degrees. You really need a workshop manual getting that deep into the engine.

Your torque spec is usually based off of lug diameter, if you have 19mm lug nuts then 75#ft should be sufficient.

Stage 1: 25nm
Stage 2: 25nm
Stage 3: 90 deg
Stage 4: 90 deg
Stage 5: 90 deg +- 10deg

Yes that is correct- a total of 270 degrees!

oil filled cam followers ,dont forget to squeeze oil out before refitting so they can re adjust.head bolts about 80 will suffice

Angle Torque settings head bolts

Use new bolts, tighten in the following stages 1. 20Nm 2. 100Nm 3. wait 3 mins 4. slacken bolts 1&2 retighten to 20Nm +110 degrees 5. carry out stage 4 for bolts 3,4,5 & 6 then bolts 7,8,9 &10 Sequence, 8 4 1 5 9 7 3 2 6 10 Bolts 9 & 10 are flywheel side of the engine.
