The brake light switch is at fault for all these problems

VX Commodore, blowing brake fuses, it was blowing when indicators & brake was used simultaneously, but no longer, it now blows the brake fuse, immediately, other-times, you can drive a while.

Sounds like a short circuit which will blow any fuse... When You use the brakes, the brake switch will switch power to the brake lamps, and if the power wire to the stop lamps is touching the body of the car, it will blow the fuse.... I don't think the brake switch is the problem, just make sure the cable for the brakes and the blinkers cannot touch the body anywhere.... This happens usually in the boot of most cars.... also check out the bulb fittings in the stop/blinker lamps , so no wire or part of the fittings can short out to the body...or to the earth/ground wire...

Hi, first, keep in mind a few things. When checking your power, you will want to check it with the light switch on. Next, do your high beems wrk? I would check your switch.
