Hyundai Santa Fe 2001-05
Heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S): The sensors are located in the exhaust system. On some vehicles, one sensor is located up at the exhaust manifold(s) and the other sensor is located down at the catalytic converter. On other vehicles, both sensors are located down at the catalytic converter.

How to Replace an Oxygen Sensor
Parts:
1. Oxygen Sensor
2. Oxygen Sensor

Tools:
1. 3/8 in. Drive Ratchet
2. Multimeter
3. Oxygen Sensor Socket
4. Combination Wrench Set
5. Crimp Tool
6. Socket Set
7. Scan Tool

Steps:
Step 1 * Park the vehicle on a level surface. Set the parking brake and open the hood.
o Tip: Safety Tip:Always wear safety glasses when working on your vehicle. Wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, for example latex gloves or safety shoes.
o Tip: Always make sure the struts on the hood can fully support the weight of the hood so that it does not close on you while working. The use of a hood prop can securely hold it in place.

Step 2 * With the engine off and cool, locate the defective oxygen sensor in the exhaust manifold or pipe. If necessary, lift the front of the vehicle and support it with jack stands.
o Tip: Most vehicles have multiple oxygen sensors. How many sensors, depends on the model year and type of engine.

Step 3 * Disconnect the wire connector at the defective oxygen sensor.

Step 4 * Remove the oxygen sensor from the exhaust system.

Step 5 * If you are installing a universal oxygen sensor, cut off the connector from the original sensor and splice the connector wires to the new oxygen sensor. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the sensor.

Step 6 * For threaded oxygen sensors, apply anti-seize compound to the threads and install the new sensor.

Step 7 * For flange mounted oxygen sensors, install a new gasket and tighten the mounting bolts.

Step 8 * Reattach the wire connector from the sensor.

Step 9 * If necessary, connect the OBD I/II scanner and erase the fault code.

Hope help with this (remember rated and commented this help) Good luck.

Cam sensor location 3.5 l V6 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The camshaft position sensor on the 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.5L V6 is located on the side of the engine block, just below the ignition coil packs. It is held in place with a single 10mm bolt. To replace it, you must remove the bolt and then unplug the wiring harness. Once the old sensor is removed, replace it with a new one and plug the wiring harness back in. Finally, reinstall the 10mm bolt and tighten it securely.

Where is the 02 Oxygen Sensor before the cadalic converter on a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe

Usually these are located on the exhaust manifold or just below the exhaust manifold and you should be able to see it in the engine bay. On V6 engines there will be one sensor on each of the 2 exhaust banks.
You will probably need to remove the engine cover to see the sensors on your exhaust.

If someone told you to replace these because you got a particular fault code I would be wary. A decent scan tool and basic diagnostics can show if the 02 sensor is working or not. Some faults often blamed on an 02 sensor are not due to faulty sensors.

Where are the o2 sensors on a 2004 santa fe

the sensors are in the exhaust system. if you have a v6 there will be one in each exhaust pipe coming off the engine one before the catalytic convertor and one after the catalytic for each pipe. it takes a 7/8" wrench or an o2 sensor socket to replace the sensors.

Where is the ignition/distributor engine speed sensor located on a 2004 sante fe

The answer to that question varies depending on which engine your Santa Fe is equipped with. The choices for the 2004 model year are L4-2.4L, V6-2.7L and V6-3.5L. This is "have-to know" information if you are wanting someone to help you with your vehicle. It will not affect the location of the sensor you are asking about, but in many cases, you should also mention if it is automatic or standard transmission and whether it is 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive. This affects MANY things like brakes, steering components, suspension components, electrical diagrams, etc. It is also impossible in some cases to look things up like Technical Service Bulletins and recalls without this information....just so you know. :)
