Jeep alarm system. Do what manual says,unlock liftgate.Be patient, hold key in unlock till horn sounds.Alarm will be disarmed so engine will start but system will still be there. Need computer to remove alarm from jeep's computer.Dealership? Alarm installer? pick one.
Take the dash and glove box off. Under where the glove box is there are two boxes, unplug the one farthest to the left. This completley disables the security alarm.
I HAVE A PROBLEM DISABLE MY JEEP 98. I DONT HAVE THE REMOTE TO TOGGLE IT. I ALREADY TRY ENTERING THE KEY THRU THE BACK OF THE CAR AND NOTHING SEEMS TO BE HAPPENING. NOW IM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN, AND ME ENTERING THE KEY IN THE BACK ITS NOT WORKING ANYWAY. WHAT SHOULD I DO.?
Try putting the key in the ignition. there are a lot of different systems out there so let me know if that does not work.

i would try to charge the battery and turn the alarm off with the remote

find the alarm underneath the seat or in the hood, cut ff the wires on the alarm system... or find the source of the alarm and cut the power...

I have the same problem on my 2004 crossfire :(
the alarm goes off out of the no where, even when i drive, the only way that i way able to turn it off was by taking one of the wires off the battery, then stops for a while but after a couple of day it happends again.
How can i reset the alarm system?

If you have a remote door lock controller, just lock and unlock doors with it. That should take care of your alarm. If you don't have a remote put the key in door lock and lock car and then unlock .This should help you i hope . If i can help you just re post
