Have a Honda Accord 2008 v6 chk engineer light on code iso 9141 meaning?

Trevor, I believe this is not a code, iso 9141 is communication protocol/ communication speed, When the scan tools make a connection to the OBD port it matches the communication speed at which your ECM communicates with the scan tool. If that is all you are seeing for a code and your engine light is on, try a different scan tool. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Where to test emission on 1995 Honda accord

95 Accord is pre-obd 2 and will probably need dedicated Honda diagnostic equipment. There was no requirement at that time to use a standard connector or to place the connector within reach of the driver's seat as with obd 2.

Honda service information should provide more details or for simplicity ask your local Honda dealer to check the emission?

The simplest method would be to check the emissions the old-fashioned way - like it is still done in lots of places, by testing the emissions at the tailpipe with a suitable gasalyser...

RHD or LHD (right or left hand drive)?????
all usa cars, the 16pin DLC is less than 1meter from the steering wheel.
yours is behind the ash try(pull it)
some old honda's here, usa have dual ways to get scan codes.

read the FSM. or google for that.
I use ,alldata.com for fast answers, saving google searches and bad answers on forums...

fsm quote.
The 16-pin On Board Diagnostic version II (OBD-II) compliant Data Link Connector (DLC) is used to access the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) using an OBD-II compliant Data Scan Tool (DST). It is an electrical connector with a gray housing located under the dash, either near the center console, on the passenger side of the vehicle or to the left of the driver side of the vehicle.
The two wire electrical connector with a blue housing next to the DLC is the Service Check Connector (SCS).

we (uSA have 2 DLCs. one is OBD2 and other is SCS.

id use a real scan tool. and not fool with the old winky blinky bs.
the scan tool you can check all live sensor data.
do that. and win.
1st goggle hit on SCS
