Check engine code P0410 in 2005 Buick Rainier

there is not one, check engine light is not connected to relay. take car to repair shop and have it fixed. All codes are OBDll and are available on line free.

You first need to get the fault codes read with a code reader. Some local parts stores will do it for you for free. They will tell you what is causing the light to come on.

2004 Buick Rainier code p0446:

I'm not sure what part to buy or where to find it. Can't find this answer anywhere online. Please help. This is code p0446 and non other.

Not really possible as you need the alternator spinning to test it . Best is to remove it and have it bench tested at an auto electrical shop. Code p0446 is the canister purge valve solenoid fault.

Is the check engine light on ?
Are the brakes applied ?
Can you rev up the engine in park ?

Check engine light comes on when the computer detects a malfunction in the emision control system, could be a loose or broken vacumm line, loose gas cap or a sensor.

Drive your vehicle to an AutoZone store, ask them to retreive the trouble codes from your computer memory, they will do that and a print out of the codes and their meaning. This a free service they provide for their customers.
