Oil consumption for gtt

Oil consumption for any vehicle can depend on a number of factors including engine construction, mileage, type of driving so it's a bit difficult to place an exact figure on it.
In the case of the 3SGTE in the Caldina GTT consumption seems to be average/normal, which equates to a drop of about 1/4~1/3 the distance between full and empty on the dipstick every 5,000km (3,000mi). And that's been my average for all 3SGTE's I've had.
If you have a high mileage (>200,000Km/120,000mi) unit, or drive enthusiastically your consumption may increase, but at that age brittle seals are more likely to be responsible for increased oil loss.

Toyota Caldina GT-T choking and backfiring

1998... I would change the spark plugs & wires, add in fuel injector cleaner, change fuel filter & air filter.
Could be many different things here.
Check the spark plugs for any sign of oil that would stop them from firing like they should.

Toyota caldina . when car started both battery and a/t oil temp warning lights stay on

This is indicative of an alternator problem. However, it always pays to do some simple checks first. You should check your alternator plug-in connector and battery feed wire (connected via a ring terminal) for tightness, cororsion etc and general wiring around the battery for the same. Check the ALT-S 5A fuse and 100A fuselink in the fusebox (under the bonne/hood).
If all this looks OK, I'd suspect the voltage regulator unit in the alternator. If it's a high mileage unit (>200K km) it could also simply be the alternator brushes worn down. Both the brushes and voltage regulator are fairy easy DIY repairs.

1998 JIMMY KEEP BLOWING #6 FUSE AT DRIVERS INSIDE FUSE BLOCK WHEN ACTIVATING BLOWER MTR. ACTUALLY NOTICED, DO BELIEVE,ONLY WHEN CAR IS RUNNING.

You have a bare wire somewhere either in your instrument cluster or under the hood where the blower motor is. It's located on the passenger side behind your computer it's easy to inspect the wires there cause they are all exposed. If a bare wire is showing just tape up with electrical tape or duct tape to keep it from arking out. If not that check that aground wire isn't fastened somewhere under the hood or on firewall. Check wires from fuse box all the way through the firewall could be dangerous. Also make sure you have the right amp fuse in if it tells you to use a 15 or 20 or 30 amp fuse make sure you have that one in.A lower number fuse will heat up and blow everytime.

Toyota Caldina 2001 no power to cigar lighter, radio, clock!

Hi there
If it was the front dash mounted lighter socket you used, the correct fuse is the 15A CIG & RADIO fuse (at the end of the second row) of the dash fusebox. If replacing the fuse hasn't fixed it, you may need to look closer at the wiring from the fusebox as it's likely the wiring has gone open circuit.
Take the fuse out and check for voltage at the terminals in the fusebox with the ingition key turned to the ACC position. One terminal or the other will have 12V on it. If no voltage on either you have a fusebox to ignition key wiring problem. Check for voltage on the ACC pin of the ignition switch, with the key turned to the ACC position. That's pin 3, a blue wire, of the 8 pin ignition switch connector. If still no volatge the switch is likely faulty. the voltage into the switch must be there as it also feeds the ECU and IGN systems, so the car wouldn't run at all if it wasn't.

There is another possibility. If you have an alarm system, immobilizer or turbo timer (assuming the GTT model) these devices could be interrupting the power lines and be the culprit devices.

I assume it wasn't the rear hatch area lighter socket you used, because the fuse for that doesn't power the radio or clock. The fuse for that socket is the 15A ACCESSORY fuse in the passenger side footwell fuse panel.
