SOURCE: Volvo 850 heater blower

As you can read in the first response that is most likely the problem..as long as you're gonna be doing all the labor, if you can afford it replace both the resistor and motor at he same time if you plan on keeping the car.

SOURCE: locating heater blower motor resistor

the resistor is behind your glove box. open the box and push in the sides to release it and let it hang down...the resistor is right there. I didn't try to replace it, a friend did it, but the part was under $20.

My heater blowers dnt work and i need to knw where i can locate the resister blocks for my heater blowers so i can ghange them

Its located under dash,or near glove box.

The dash panel lower side has to be out.

HEATER BLOWER MOTOR

Its faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.

It can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.
