For it to overflow it must be taking the fluid out of the steering rack ram as otherwise it would just recirculate the fluid, this would suggest one of the lines is blocked kinked or trapped.

Toyota Corolla 1.3 esteem 2014 model: Power steering light comes on when turn on the ignition and when driving.

This says it does have a fluid reservoir? Some electric power steering just has an electric pump as a opposed to a mechanical pump driven by the serpentine belt.

'06 toyota corolla loses power while driving

The power steering works off the engine, so if engine not running, no power steering. It sounds like to me that a good place to start would be the fuel filter. If the fuel filter is plugged, it may allow enough fuel to go through to run the vehicle for a few minutes but not allow enough through to sustain continued operation. The fuel pump is also a consideration.

P/S has appeared on my dashboard of my corolla VVTI 2001 model.its manual.I have taken it all round no knows where the problem is.

P/S stands for power steering, Check the level of the fluid in the reservoir, and inspect the pump and belts. There is also a sensor that monitors the power steering system, if no visial defects can be detected, and you aren't have trouble turning, try changing the sensor.

Toyota avensis 05 i befor i star the car i can see p/s and desaper, why is that?

power steering may be the pump or the serpentin belt, when you start the car the ps pulley stops for few seconds and then starts turning i think thats the problem, check the fluid level.

2001 corolla power steering in cold weather

Boy the temperature has been crazy! The fluids are affected by temperature and depending on where you live can make a huge difference. If the belt is not tight the fluid maybe getting airated enough that it is causing the problem. Check your fluid level and make certain you have the proper amount. Make sure your belt is tight, no more than 1/4" defection total. If your pump is leaking, once you fill it, turn the wheels in both directions to expel any air in the system. Hope this helps.
