2000 CHEVY EXPRESS 1500 VAN. BUZZER/CHIME RINGS CONTINUALLY WHEN KEY IS IN IGNITION UNLESS DRIVER ELECTRIC WINDOW IS FULLY OPEN. ANY HELP?

that eliminates the problem and the headlight/key worning. I was looking for help fixing the problem, not eliminating the annouiance.

Locate chime under dash and remove it

well if every thing now works properly i might try replacing the reley as it might have a short in it witch you will you will probably in eithor the door frame or under the dash or inside the door and i think it's in the door as the window is breaking the circur when down by pulling on the wire witch makes me think the wire is in botom fromt of door by window frame

if you dont have a chilton book it might be a goot time to buy one as they have all the wiring diag in them and it will make it easier to track the short

it will need a chime module (what you call a intergration module) - mainly so you don't leave the keys in the ignition and you can hear the turn signal clicker.

Fixed Problem (it was my van) no power to ignition wire at starter. Replaced Ignition lock cylinder. just worn down. (Delivery van 50-60 starts a day). 160k miles.

the high humidity (water) is attacking your electrical starting system, whens the last time you changed your spark plug wires , distributor cap & rotor ? how about your fuel & air filters ? cleaned your battery terminals ? try it , it will help !!!!!!!!!

My Chevy Venture 2003 door chime on drivers side chimes without key in ignition with door open. Before this happened my dash lights acted funny and then went out. When I shut off the van and opened the...

Sometimes the ignition key does not "deactivate" when removing the key...try wiggling the washer behind where the key goes...sometimes this sticks...:)

Start with fuel system. Listen for fuel pump humm at fuel tank No humm check wiring to pump for power. Then check for spark at plugs and wires. Remove wire from coil and hold near engine and see arch when you crank. No arch. Replace ignition Modular inside distributor cap or cap or rotor

No power chevy express 1500 van wont start turn the key and nothing.

Hi there, if you turn on the lights do you have head lights? if yes turn the key to start with headlights on does the lights dim? Yes? if yes that means your key is operating the starter if not it means the starter is not receiving a signal from the key to starter, need to know what it does before I go on. If no lights then the battery is dead or you have a corroded battery cable. Let me know for more information.

Disc Brake Emergency brake adjustment on 04' Chev Express Van

Continually push the brake pedal to set the brakes. (With park brake off). Brakes are self adjusting and will adjust to correct position.
