2005 GMC Yukon rear wiper won't reset itself. We can use it once and then have to manually place it back on its rest support. After restarting the engine we can then use it one time more. Is there a relay out somewhere?

2003 GMC Yukon- Rear wiper stopped working. Buzzing/humming noise coming from the wiper motor. Tried replacing it, but got the same result.(buzzing). Returned new motor. Checked 2 fuses one under the dashboard and one under the hood. Both were good.

2005 GMC BACK HATCH WON'T OPEN

It sounds like the lock actuator has failed or has a poor connection which won't allow the latch to release. What you will need to do is remove the inside rear hatch panel to access the lock actuator. Once you get to the latch use a flat screwdriver to release the latch being careful not to damage the glass.

Rear wiper motor has power won't wipe 06 gmc yukon, makes a ticking noise

if you have power to the motor and it still is not working then I would say that the motor itself is bad and at fault. replace it and all should be good.

Wipers won't stop stop after being turned on .04 gmc yukon xl......the suv has to be off for 10 minutes or more for it to reset..frustrating

It is the wiper motor itself,it has the contacts in it to switch to the rest position upon turning it off.

Remove wiper blade

Do you mean the wiper blade or the wiper arm?

The wiper blade should have a small tab or lever on the underside of the hinge where it attaches to the arm. Use a small screwdriver or a pick (etc..) to gently pry the lever upwards to pull the locking tab out of its corresponding hole on the wiper arm. Once the tab is up, firmly grasp the wiper blade and pull towards the base of the wiper arm. Sometimes they stick a little, just be careful not to bend the wiper arm.
If you are looking to remove the wiper arm, remove the plastic cap at the base of the wiper arm to gain access to the nut below. Using either a 13mm (1/2 inch) or 15mm socket (depending on the model) remove the nut by turning counter-clockwise. Once the nut is off, place your hand in the middle portion of the wiper arm and firmly push downward, being careful not to bend the arm. What you are trying to do is rock the arm off of the wiper motor stud. Be sure to mark where the wiper blade rests on the windshield before removing it, so you can reassemble it in the same spot when you put it back together. Use a grease pencil or something else that you can clean off later.
Hope this helps!
